Occupational Health NurseLocation: Grays, with some travel in London Type: Full-time | Permanent Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience Are you an experienced Occupational Health Nurse looking for a new opportunity, or an A&E, emergency care or acute nurse ready to take your clinical skills in a new direction? Why Consider This Opportunity?• For experienced OH Nurses: Build on your existing Occupational Health experience within a varied and clinically engaging role • For nurses moving into OH: Develop your Occupational Health knowledge and gain experience across a broad range of services, with training and support available • Apply your clinical skills in a structured workplace environment • Enjoy a varied role combining treatment, emergency response, health surveillance and prevention • Build long-term relationships with employees and make a positive impact on their health and wellbeing • Develop your career within the growing field of Occupational Health Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency & Acute Care • Provide onsite emergency response and first-line treatment • Assess and manage a range of injuries and acute presentations • Participate in emergency response training and preparedness Clinical & Treatment Services • Run nurse-led clinics, assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses • Deliver evidence-based care in a professional and well-structured environment • Support employees with appropriate clinical advice, treatment and onward referral where required Health Screening & Surveillance • Carry out pre-employment and safety-critical medicals • Deliver health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and HAVS assessments • Support drug and alcohol testing • Undertake fitness-for-work assessments Wellbeing & Prevention • Deliver health promotion initiatives and wellbeing campaigns • Provide lifestyle advice and support long-term health improvements • Deliver engaging health talks and health education sessions About YouEssential: • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC PIN • Confident working independently and making sound clinical decisions • Strong communication and organisational skills • Comfortable travelling to sites across London when required We'd be particularly interested in hearing from: • Experienced Occupational Health Nurses looking for their next opportunity • Nurses with A&E, emergency care or acute clinical backgrounds looking to transition into Occupational Health • Nurses with experience in workplace health, industrial nursing or occupational medicine Desirable: • Previous Occupational Health experience • Experience delivering health surveillance or workplace medicals • Experience in emergency response or first aid provision Occupational Health experience is desirable but not essential, and training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
