About the role

Ready to take the next step in your supply chain career within the Fresh Produce industry? We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage sales orders, stock allocation, and transport bookings, making sure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, confident with data and systems, and enjoys being the first point of contact for customers and colleagues alike. Role Overview As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will take ownership of daily order processing and stock allocation across assigned product categories. Working closely with customers, logistics providers, planning, and operations teams, you will keep orders moving smoothly, resolve issues quickly, and help maintain high standards of accuracy across the supply chain. Supply Chain Coordinator Key Responsibilities • Process daily retailer orders for next day and same day delivery, checking accuracy throughout • Manage sales orders from receipt through to fulfilment, including order imports • Allocate stock for both current and next day requirements across all customer accounts • Book transport and work with logistics teams and providers to ensure on-time delivery • Monitor and track deliveries, resolving any issues to prevent delays • Act as first point of contact for assigned product categories, responding to customer queries promptly • Provide customers with updates on order status, stock availability, and delivery schedules • Use ERP systems for order processing, transport coordination, and inventory tracking • Oversee data synchronisation and EDI processes • Verify job accuracy, including quantities, categories, and bill of materials • Prepare detailed daily job sheets to support third party packing operations • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, liaising with colleagues to keep records accurate • Maintain accurate KPI records and support process improvement • Support the training and onboarding of new team members Supply Chain Coordinator Key Requirements • Strong understanding of order management, stock allocation, and transport booking • Experience using ERP systems in a commercial or operational setting • Working knowledge of EDI and data synchronisation processes • Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem solving • Confident supporting and training colleagues • Previous experience within Fresh Produce is highly desirable • Experience in a supply chain or sales operations environment is advantageous This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, collaborative team where accuracy and service really matter.
