We are currently recruiting for an experienced Driver to join a busy Transport Department supporting a range of operational requirements both within and outside of the Dockyard environment.

The Role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for supporting transport operations across the business, carrying out duties in line with your licence categories and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and materials.

You will receive training and familiarisation across a range of specialist vehicles and activities, providing opportunities for career development and progression.

Whats on Offer?
£17.78 per hour
35-hour working week - Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 (Overtime opportunities available)

Essential Requirements
Category C+E (Unit and Trailer) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of transport legislation and safe driving practices
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work
Ability to work flexibly to support operational requirements
Training and Development Opportunities

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to receive training and familiarisation in:

Category D - Coach, Bus and Minibus operations
ADR - Dangerous Goods by Road qualifications
Waste operations, including:
Skip Lorry Loader
Rear End Loader
Waste Tanker operations
