Location: Southampton

Salary: £13.21 per hour

Hours: Part Time Permanent – 24 hours per week

Shifts: Every Saturday and Sunday

Shift Times: 08:00 – 20:00

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist 4-bed mental health service in Southampton, supporting adults with complex mental health needs.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton, Romsey, Fareham, Portsmouth, Winchester and surrounding areas.

As a Support Worker, you will provide safe, person-centred support, promoting independence and encouraging individuals to achieve their personal goals. You will support service users with daily living activities, community access, appointments and recreational activities, while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and documentation while working closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality support.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous care or support work experience
• Positive, caring and compassionate approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• Makaton training – desirable not essential
