About the role

Thank you for considering St. Mary's Catholic Academy for the next stage in your career. We are seeking to appoint a talented Administration Assistant to support our attendance team at St Mary’s. The role is offered on a permanent, term time only basis, to commence in September 2026. This is a full time role but we are willing to negotiate part time hours for interested candidates. This would be a fantastic opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to support our attendance provision and help ensure that every student is given the very best opportunity to succeed.

The successful candidate will be professional, approachable and able to remain calm under pressure. They will possess excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues. Previous administrative experience is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

St Mary’s is a highly regarded oversubscribed Catholic Academy in Blackpool in the Diocese of Lancaster. The school is very much a Catholic family where everyone works together to support and challenge one another to be the best they can be.

Start Date: 1st September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
