The Role

The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical nursing care for patients. This position involves active participation in the nurse consult rota and contributing to the delivery of valuable services within a beautifully designed clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting screening procedures, including auscultation and sample procurement.

• General anaesthetic monitoring and accurate record keeping.

• Recording accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.

• Administering treatments as directed by veterinary surgeons.

• Disinfecting surgical rooms, medical equipment, and maintaining high cleanliness standards in clinical workspaces.

• Aiding veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures and protocols.

• Tending to unsettled animals with urgency and compassion.

• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels efficiently.

• Boosting pet owners' knowledge about routine and specialised caring procedures.
