Part-Time Registered Nurse – Belfast
Our client, a leading specialist healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their growing clinical team in Belfast on a part-time, on-site basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a modern clinical environment, supporting patients through specialist outpatient procedures while delivering exceptional standards of care and patient experience.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care before, during, and after clinical procedures. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes throughout the treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for clinical procedures.
- Assist the clinical team while maintaining strict aseptic and infection prevention standards.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and during recovery, including recording vital signs.
- Administer medications in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Provide clear and effective pre- and post-procedure patient education.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic patient record systems.
- Support compliance with clinical governance, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate UK or Ireland nursing regulatory body.
- Experience in patient assessment, wound care, and post-operative monitoring, ideally within a surgical, outpatient, or day-case setting.
- Sound knowledge of infection prevention, aseptic technique, and safe medication administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using electronic patient record systems.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and high standards of care.
Desirable
- Previous experience within cosmetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or hair restoration services is advantageous but not essential, as full training can be provided.
