Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team and ensure a safe shopping environment for our customers and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Your primary duties will include conducting regular patrols of the store premises, maintaining a visible presence to deter potential incidents, and responding promptly to any security breaches or emergencies. You will also collaborate with store management to implement loss prevention strategies and provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing their inquiries.

The ideal candidate should possess strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid security license is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for reporting incidents effectively and working with local authorities when necessary. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is also required.
