Locum Specialty Doctor (Staff Grade) required for night cover in General Internal Medicine at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This is an extended assignment covering 31 consecutive nights throughout August 2026, at the £60/hr assignment rate.

Night shifts run from 20:30 to 09:00 the following morning. The successful candidate will provide overnight medical cover at registrar level, managing acute medical admissions, reviewing deteriorating patients, responding to crash calls, and providing ward cover across the general medical wards. Craigavon Area Hospital is a busy acute site and this role requires the ability to work independently at middle-grade level overnight.

This is excellent for doctors seeking a block of consistent night work in a single location. The full month of August is available, providing continuity and the opportunity to integrate fully with the team.

Candidates must be at Specialty Doctor, Staff Grade, or equivalent SAS level with valid GMC registration and a licence to practise. Significant experience in acute general medicine is essential. Right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of 2 professional references are required.
