Relief Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Relief Retail Security Officer to join our team and ensure a safe shopping environment for our customers and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling the retail premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security protocols to prevent theft and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Your keen observational skills will be essential in identifying suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks. As a Relief Officer, you will work flexible hours, providing essential coverage during peak times and assisting in various locations as needed.

Key responsibilities include conducting regular security checks of the store premises, responding promptly to alarms and incidents, and collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary. You will also be tasked with maintaining an accurate record of daily activities and incidents, providing detailed reports to management. Additionally, you will engage with customers and staff, promoting a positive and secure atmosphere while addressing any security concerns they may have. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in retail security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a valid security license.
