About the Primary Teacher Role

As an EYFS & KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners and support strong educational foundations.

• Position: Primary Teacher – EYFS & KS1

• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Salary: Competitive rates depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of the EYFS & KS1 Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Support pupils of all learning abilities to achieve strong progress
• Assess and monitor pupil development effectively
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning atmosphere

Requirements for This Primary Teaching Job

To be considered for this Primary Teacher position in Birmingham, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and KS1 Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A creative, enthusiastic, and flexible teaching approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young learners
