If you’re passionate about shaping end-to-end services and creating seamless user experiences, this could be the role for you!What You’ll have the Opportunity to do as a Service Designer:Inspire teams by shaping end-to-end service experiences that meet both user and business needsWork directly with stakeholders to define service journeys, identify pain points, and design improvementsCommunicate confidently with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholdersLead collaborative workshops to align teams and drive service innovationCreate service blueprints, journey maps, and design artefacts to solve complex problemsUse research, insight, and data to iterate designs and improve service outcomesAbout The CandidateThe right Service Designer should have:Experience as a Service Designer or within a similar design-focused roleA strong track record of delivering user-centred design solutions across digital servicesExperience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) principlesAbility to advocate for user-centred design and influence stakeholders at all levelsExperience working with design systems, service blueprints, and journey mappingConfidence working within Agile environments and multidisciplinary teamsAbility to use evidence and insight to inform decisions and validate design hypothesesWhat’s in it for you?·        Salary from £50,000 – £64,000·        Up to 25 days holidays per annum alongside UK public holidays·        Health and wellbeing support·        Pension scheme contributions·        Flexible benefits packageTo hear more about the Service Designer role contact Daire McIlhatton at [email removed]
