Assistant Facilities Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Facilities Manager in overseeing the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. You will also monitor facility budgets and expenditures, assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects, and contribute to the development of maintenance schedules and protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. You should have a solid understanding of facility management principles and practices, and be comfortable using various software for maintenance tracking and reporting. A minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred, along with a relevant degree or certification. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams are essential to succeed in this role.
