Assistant Country Estate Manager in Worcestershire

A traditional country estate with a diverse portfolio of enterprises is seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join a small, friendly team. This is a varied position offering involvement across all aspects of estate life, where no two days are the same.
The role will include supporting the general running of the estate and its wider portfolio, with duties such as property maintenance and building work, forestry tasks including felling, planting and pruning, and assisting the gamekeeper with the running of the shoot. Responsibilities will also cover vermin and deer control, grounds maintenance, general estate duties, and occasional support with events. There may also be a requirement to respond to emergency callouts for holiday lets and residential properties.
Flexibility is essential, as some evening, weekend and bank holiday work will be required, particularly during the shooting season and busy event periods.
The ideal candidate will be practical, proactive and keen to learn, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role offers the opportunity to build a fulfilling lifestyle on the estate and become part of a welcoming rural community.

Location of the job: Near Malvern, Worcestershire
Hours of work: 39 hours per week
Time off in lieu provided for out of hours and weekend work

Job Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Pay: £35,000 gross per annum
