Security Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Security Team Leader to oversee and enhance our security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and personnel. You will develop and implement security protocols, conduct regular risk assessments, and respond to incidents promptly. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a proactive security culture, as you will train and mentor team members, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism are maintained at all times.

The Security Team Leader will also collaborate with various departments to identify security needs and develop comprehensive strategies to address them. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate documentation of security incidents, preparing reports for management, and liaising with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Additionally, you will oversee the scheduling and deployment of security staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and events. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will frequently interact with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in security management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position. Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are preferred. A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is advantageous.
