About the role
We are delighted to be recruiting a newly created role of Head of Talent Engagement for Opencast.
Opencast is a certified B Corp with an inclusive and learning culture and diverse team of great people. They are a growing tech consultancy that creates user-centred solutions with purpose for our clients in government, healthcare and purpose-driven businesses.
The role
This role will lead the strategy and execution of hiring across Opencast, ensuring the business continues to deliver on the perm-first consulting model, attracting and retaining talent that aligns to our Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion principles, and strengthening the capability of the business to respond to client needs now and in the future.
Reporting to the Director of People, the Head of Talent Engagement is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy. The post holder will lead a team of Talent Engagement Partners and act as a genuine strategic partner to capability and delivery leadership across the business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business you will own and execute Opencast’s talent strategy, aligned to business growth objectives and evolving service and capability priorities.
In collaboration with you experienced team, you will build recruitment plans that are responsive to changing client and market demand and will own the end-to-end hiring process, continuously improving outcomes, stakeholder experience and Opencast’s employer brand in the UK tech consulting market.
What we are looking for
We are looking for TA leaders with proven experience leading a talent acquisition function, ideally in a tech consultancy or professional services environment, ideally with exposure to UK public sector delivery.
Experience of building and scaling a TA function and processes in a high-growth organisation are essential and you will need to operate comfortably at senior leadership level and builds trust with senior stakeholders quickly.
As a B Corp, we need someone who is committed to inclusive hiring practice, with JEDI principles embedded in how you work, not treated as an add-on.
Ideally this role will be based in the NE of England, but we are open to applications from those outside of the region if you are able to be regularly in the NE/London.
Salary
£70k – £80k per annum.
