We're recruiting for a Lettings / Property Manager to join a well-established, award-winning independent estate agency in their successful Dereham office.

Initially offered as maternity cover, this role presents a genuine long-term opportunity due to continued business growth. It's an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused property professional looking to join a supportive business with strong career prospects.

The Role

As a Lettings / Property Manager, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties
• Coordinate maintenance works and liaise with contractors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
• Ensure properties remain compliant with current lettings legislation and safety requirements
• Conduct property viewings when required
• Register applicants and match them with suitable properties
• Support the tenancy process from enquiry through to move-in
• Provide advice to landlords on property management and current market conditions
• Identify opportunities to grow the lettings portfolio
• Maintain accurate property records and support the office with administrative duties
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the tenancy

Lettings / Property Manager Requirements

• Previous experience within residential lettings and property management
• Strong understanding of tenancy management and current lettings legislation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
• Proactive, professional and solution-focused approach
• Confident building relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
