Road Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Road Technition. You ideally would have a background in coachworks or as a caravan fitter. The role involves servicing and doing repairs to equipment in the back of a van. You will be working on a variety of vans, none of which have the same spec so you will need to read plans and be able to use your initiative. This is a temp to perm role. You will be working across the UK so could be away all week depending on location. You will have a fuel card and be staying in local hotels. Lifting required so physical fitness is required. Wage £TBC Responsibilities

• Fitting out a variety of vans to a high standard.
• Some lifting
• Some waterproofing of van
• Handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including
• Ensure safety standards are met
• Support with basic mechanical tasks or repairs as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in coach or caravan firring preferred
• A wide variety of DIY experience including electrics and plumbing
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Mechanical knowledge or understanding of materials handling equipment is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
• A professional and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Own transport to travel to initial place of work
• Complete training as required
