About the role

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high‑quality projects in complex, operational environments? Do you thrive on managing multiple stakeholders, driving efficiency, and ensuring projects land on time, on budget, and to the highest standards? If so, we want to hear from you. We are recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee Life cycle and Variation Projects within a busy Facilities Management environment. This role is critical in ensuring contractual obligations are met while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Planning • Manage the full life cycle of projects, ensuring efficient delivery on time and within budget. • Work closely with clients to interpret briefs, develop scopes of work, and secure sign‑off. • Produce comprehensive project plans covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. • Maintain fully audit-able project files in line with ISO standards. Financial & Commercial Management • Hold financial responsibility for approximately £1.5M in project revenue. • Provide accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting. • Ensure value for money and achieve agreed profit margins on all projects. Contractor & Supplier Management • Procure competent contractors for design, construction, and commissioning. • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with company and site procedures. • Coordinate subcontractors on site, including inductions, competence checks, and safety compliance. Compliance, Safety & Quality • Ensure all work is delivered safely and in line with statutory regulations, CDM requirements, and healthcare standards. • Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, supporting behavioural safety initiatives. • Support ISO14001 retention and environmental objectives. • Ensure quality systems are in place and O&M manuals are obtained where required. Stakeholder Engagement • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and service partners to ensure seamless FM service delivery. • Maintain strong customer focus and provide regular project updates and management information. • Conduct project review meetings and support continuous improvement. About You We're looking for someone who brings: • Demonstrable experience delivering Life cycle and Variation Projects ( preferred) • Experience working in challenging environments such as healthcare or education. • Strong understanding of project management principles. • Excellent communication, organisational, and coordination skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). • Facilities Management experience and solid Health & Safety knowledge. • Ability to work independently and manage junior team members. • A collaborative, dynamic, and professional approach.
