🚜 Seasonal Field Operative / Potato Harvest Crew

Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (Immediate Start)
Join the team harvesting the famous Ayrshire Early Potatoes! We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our field harvesting and sorting crew. No experience is required—just a great attitude and physical fitness.
💰 Pay & Hours
Standard Rate: £13.50 per hour
Overtime Rate: £18.00 per hour
Typical Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required depending on the weather)
☕ Break Times
Morning Break: 15 minutes (Paid)
Lunch Break: 30 minutes (Unpaid)
Late Afternoon Break: 15 minutes (Paid)
📋 What You’ll Be Doing
Standing on mechanical harvesters to sort and grade potatoes on a moving conveyor belt.
Removing stones, soil clods, and damaged crop from the line.
Helping prepare, load, and secure potato crates for transport.
Working outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a friendly, hard-working team.
💪 About You
Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods and walking on uneven ground.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player (we depend on each other to keep the harvest moving!).
Have your own transport to get to the farms or our Grangestone base.
Outdoor workwear and sturdy boots are essential.
