This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where finance plays a central role in driving strategic and operational decision-making.Your New RoleReporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting while strengthening financial controls, improving working capital performance and driving operational efficiency. Key responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of the month-end close process, delivering high-quality reporting within a 5-day close timetable.
• Providing commercial insight to improve margins, manage costs and support business decision-making.
• Overseeing procurement, audit, taxation, funding arrangements and statutory compliance.
• Supporting and developing a high-performing finance team, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
• Implementing scalable systems, reporting frameworks and financial controls to support future growth.
• Managing cash flow activities, including oversight of weekly payment runs and short to medium-term forecasting.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide timely and meaningful financial analysis that supports commercial decision-making.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous experience operating in a senior finance leadership position. You will also possess:

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience improving finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to influence decision-making through financial insight.
