About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Security Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our logistics operations, safeguarding both personnel and assets throughout the supply chain. Key responsibilities will include conducting regular security assessments and audits, implementing effective security protocols, and monitoring logistics activities to prevent theft, loss, or damage. You will collaborate closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to develop and maintain security procedures that align with our company’s goals and compliance requirements.
As a Logistics Security Officer, you will also be responsible for investigating security incidents, preparing detailed reports, and advising on risk mitigation strategies. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. In addition, you will provide training to team members on security best practices and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in logistics, security management, or a related field is preferred, along with a valid security certification.
