Business Development Manager

At VIGO, we’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded smart building technology provider who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover the Northern region. This role is suited to someone who thrives on managing key client relationships while driving new business growth within the BMS and BEMS space. In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to clients, combining commercial insight with technical understanding to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support continued business expansion. Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across the region. You will use your industry knowledge to forecast sales, produce accurate estimates and proposals, and act as a vital link between customers and internal delivery teams. Key responsibilities include: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key client accounts; Respond to client enquiries, needs, and concerns in a timely and professional manner; Deliver against agreed sales targets and growth objectives. Candidates should have Proven experience within the BMS or BEMS sector; Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust; Confident relationship builder with a customer-focused approach. This is a full-time position offering a salary in the range £60,000–£65,000 per year.
