BMS Commissioning Engineer

VIGO is partnering with an industry leader in building services and automation, to hire a diligent BEMS Commissioning Engineer. If you’re a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the commissioning of complex technical systems, this role is your opportunity to make an impact and ensure project perfection from conception to completion. In this role, you'll be tasked with meticulously testing, verifying, and commissioning technical systems on-site, collaborating with the dedicated project team, and contributing to our mission of providing high-quality building management solutions. Role Overview As a BEMS Commissioning Engineer, your focus will be ensuring that all technical systems align seamlessly with project designs and operational directives from initial testing through final project handover. You'll partner with project managers and engineers, serving as an advocate for excellence and precision throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Review and familiarise with project designs, operations descriptions and control panel documentation; Assisting with software creation and development when required; Supervising and executing electrical testing and verification. Candidates should have Has relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services; Has a solid understanding of network systems, including TCP/IP and serial devices; Can demonstrate experience in supervising site-based teams. This is a full-time position offering a salary in the range £40,000–£50,000 per year.
