Special Projects BMS Commissioning Engineer

VIGO is recruiting on behalf of an agile, fast-paced Special Projects division operating within data centre and pharmaceutical vertical markets. Recognised for exceptional delivery of major EU projects, they are seeking a talented BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their team. Note when in Europe your salary will be significantly uplifted! Role Overview As a BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will handle full BMS commissioning for projects across the UK, Europe, or the Nordics, spanning data centre and pharmaceutical environments. Your scope will range from creating schedules, modifying panel designs, developing software, crafting graphics, to executing Levels 1–5 of data centre QA/QC processes, from FAT testing through to IST testing. Key responsibilities include: Manage overall commissioning of projects in line with the programme of works and intended design; Perform field point-to-point checks, terminations, and wiring modifications where necessary; Commission various DDC control systems (Trend, Tridium or others), update control panel drawings, and document operation in commissioning files. Candidates should have Experienced with at least one of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, ALC; Knowledge of Niagara-based systems and HVAC systems; Electrically competent with strong PC skills. This is a full-time position offering a salary in the range £50,000–£60,000 per year.
