Job Title: Contract Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Cambridgeshire
Rate: £250 per day
IR35 Determination: Outside of scope
Contract Length: Ongoing

The Role: Are you a freelance asbestos surveyor looking for a highly stable, long-term contract? We are seeking a dedicated professional to cover a portfolio of residential properties exclusively in the Cambridgeshire area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys on residential properties using a provided PDA.
• Accurately taking samples of any suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs).
• Independently managing your weekly schedule and workload to meet project deadlines.
• Ensuring the timely submission of survey reports and samples each week.

About You:

• You must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience as an asbestos surveyor is strictly required.
• This will be a fully independent and autonomous role, therefore you need to be highly experienced in working under your own initiative and must be confident in executing your own work schedules.
• You must provide your own reliable transportation, survey toolkit, and essential PPE, including a half-mask with a recent face-fit certificate.
