Store Detective

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Store Detective to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting the assets of our retail establishment by preventing theft, fraud, and other illegal activities. Your primary duties will include monitoring store premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and observing customer behavior to identify suspicious activities. You will work closely with store management and law enforcement as necessary to investigate incidents of theft or misconduct, gathering evidence and preparing reports to support any legal actions taken against offenders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a keen sense of judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in loss prevention or security is an advantage, as is familiarity with store operations and customer service. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to interact with customers, staff, and law enforcement. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional training in security management or criminal justice preferred.
