Sub Agent – Leading Civils Contractor – East Sussex, Surrey or Kent My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company. They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Sub Agent to work on projects in the southeastern region, particularly in the Counties of East Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The company specialise in the following sectors; • Highways & Structures • Infrastructure & Public Realm • Ports, Rivers & Marine • Environment Agency Projects • MOD & Defence • Aviation • Water & Wastewater Initially, the successful individual will be assisting the existing site team who are in the process of delivering a large development infrastructure project. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects. My client is open minded and would consider individuals with circa 4-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Section / Senior Engineer or someone already in the role. Sub Agent duties include assisting the Site Agent with the successful and timely delivery of the projects: • Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges • Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes • Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers • Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing • Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements • Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team • Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process • Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries Benefits: • Competitive basic salary • Company car or generous car allowance • Generous company mileage scheme • Company Pension Scheme • Private Healthcare • 25 days holiday as standard to include all Bank Holidays • Training and progression • Annual bonus (usually 5-10% of salary) • And much more The business will be able to keep you working on the South Coast, offering a variety of projects, security and package that reflects your contribution to the company.
