Warehouse Operative with Forklift licence

Join a Leading Automotive ManufacturerWe are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to join a well-established automotive manufacturing operation based in Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting production and logistics activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of materials, parts, and products throughout the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Working HoursInitial Training Period (First 3 Weeks)

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  
  
• Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
  
  

Following Training – Rotational Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
  
  
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – Midnight
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently within the manufacturing facility.
  
  
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials across the site.
  
  
• Supplying production lines with required components and materials.
  
  
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
  
  
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Assisting with stock movements and inventory control where required.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  
  

Essential RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must:
 

• Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent)
• Have previous experience operating a forklift truck in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
• Have a strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Have excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
