Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and maintaining flower beds. You will also be responsible for clearing debris, litter picking, and managing waste disposal to maintain a tidy environment. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be expected to follow health and safety regulations while using a variety of landscaping tools and machinery.

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices. Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a similar field is highly desirable. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, following instructions and schedules effectively.
