Randstad Education is currently seeking passionate, adaptable Supply Primary Teaching Assistants (TAs) with strong phonics experience to work in various fantastic primary schools across the Leeds area. • UK Primary School Experience: You must have recent, verifiable experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school classroom.

• Phonics Expertise: A strong, proven understanding of UK phonics frameworks (such as Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics, or Little Wandle) to effectively support early reading and writing.

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum: Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum.

• Safeguarding Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one through Randstad).

• Core Classroom Skills: Outstanding behaviour management, strong communication skills, and a proactive, warm approach to supporting both the classroom teacher and diverse pupil needs.
